Project Description

What we need:

Write stories that make people feel closer to nature, this can be through inspirational stories about tree planters, educational pieces about ecology and climate change or fun facts. We are interested in novel ways & perspectives to cover and improve the human-nature relation.
Find articles, books, films related to nature and human-nature relationship, which content should be shared with our community.
Blog entries, and content for our mailing to all people who joined the tree-planting community.

What we have:

Our website features a blog, your content will be features here.
We also share on social media such as Linkedin, Insta etc.

Why this project is of importance to us:

It is our mission to connect people to nature, and to inspire people to contribute to nature restoration
We want to inform our community about natural wonders so they value nature more.
We want to activate our community to change the world for good.

The Social enterprise Treemendo has been founded in November 2019 to empower people to restore forests and to bring nature closer to people. We are a team of volunteers dedicated to making this world a better place.

Why we do what we do:

We need 1 trillion trees as part of the climate change solution and to halt biodiversity loss. We think forests can only be planted and sustained if people care about them. That is why we connect people with reforestation and empower our users to plant trees remotely.
